Ieškote greito ir patikimo pamatų įrengimo būdo? Screw piles – tai inovatyvus sprendimas, leidžiantis sutaupyti ir laiką, ir pinigus.
Screw piles provide the same stability as traditional concrete foundations, but with several key advantages. Their installation is significantly faster, and the structure is ready for use immediately after installation.
These versatile foundations are perfect for various projects:
✓ Construction of cottages and summer houses
✓ Outdoor terrace installation
✓ Greenhouse foundations
✓ Aviary constructions
✓ Garage and shed construction
✓ Flagpole mounting
✓ Installation of temporary and permanent fences
Our screw piles:
✓ Effectively work in both soft and hard soils
✓ Do not require additional soil reinforcement
✓ Eliminate the waiting time for concrete curing
✓ Provide a stable base for any structure
Screw piles are an excellent choice for fence foundations. The quick installation allows you to set up a fence in one day, and the solid foundation ensures longevity in any weather conditions.
An ideal solution for garden sheds and small buildings. The piles provide a stable foundation, protect against moisture, and eliminate the need for complex concrete work.
Garage foundations with screw piles are installed quickly and easily. Galvanized piles provide stable support for the garage structure, and installation does not damage surrounding buildings or tree roots.
Screw piles are especially suitable for canopy and shed construction due to their fast installation. They can withstand roof loads and weather conditions, ensuring long-term stability.
Installing terraces on screw piles is a practical solution. Galvanized foundations are easy to install on uneven surfaces, allowing uninterrupted work progress.
Screw piles provide a safe and stable foundation for children's playgrounds. They easily adapt to different terrains and ensure stability in any weather.
Screw piles are ideal for greenhouse foundations due to their simple structure. They provide good drainage, ventilation, and prevent movement caused by cold temperatures.
Screw piles are a practical choice for raised garden beds. They allow for the creation of an ideal planting height, ensure stability, and prevent the structure from sinking into the ground.
A screw foundation requires:
A concrete foundation requires:
Once a screw foundation is installed, you can immediately continue work, whereas a concrete foundation requires waiting for the concrete to set.
For terraces, we typically use U-type screw piles: 885 mm in length for harder soils and 1000 mm in length for softer soils.
If the soil at the installation site has been recently disturbed, we recommend using longer piles.
Unused screw foundations can always be returned. Additionally, you can always exchange the piles for ones that better suit your needs.
To recommend the best solution, please provide the building dimensions, possibly its weight, and the soil type where it will be placed. Call or write – we’ll choose the most suitable option.
Examples:
First, install stakes and stretch a string. For approximate measurements, measure the available slope at the pile installation locations.
We recommend leaving the screw foundation above the ground by no more than 20% of its working length. If the slope is up to 20 cm, you can use the same screws – screw one row completely into the ground, and leave the other above the surface (without exceeding the recommendation). For larger slopes, choose taller screw piles.
Frost lifts from below, but screw foundations are harder to lift due to the pointed tip in the ground. For structures that could be affected by soil movement, we recommend using screw piles at least 1000 mm long.
In Lithuania, the ground typically freezes about 25 cm deep in the east and 15 cm in the west. A snowless winter with temperatures of -25°C for an entire month is required to freeze the ground to 60 cm.
Regardless of the quantity, we always recommend using a more powerful drill or perforator or taking breaks to prevent the tool from overheating.
The perforator is the best choice as it comes with a drill for checking the installation points.
1. Mark the installation points on the ground.
2. You can drive in auxiliary tools or the screw pile itself at the planned locations.
3. After marking, measure the diagonals between the points.
Before starting to screw in the galvanized foundation, we recommend checking the site for possible obstacles (stones, roots, etc.). An electric perforator (drill is included in the rental set) is best for this. You can also check by driving in rebar.
